This is a great track! One of the few left with bent grass greens. Not the most difficult course in the Atlanta vicinity but good price, not crowded, in good shape, and from the tips (only about 6800 yrs) provides lots of interesting shots. Unlike most of the courses around Atlanta that are "subdivision-based" and most of the holes look alike, every hole at Callahan is a little different and unique. Very enjoyable experience and for beginners, the white tees put you past most of the real trouble so don't need a shag bag full of balls to play it. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

Played this course several times over the last few years. Layout and difficulty are pretty average, but the course and greens are always in great shape. For the area the course is WIDE OPEN, normally courses around this area have narrow fairways bordered by thick woods or hills which make errant shots disappear. This course on the other hand, is relatively open and a little easier for those less skilled golfers such as myself. This course always has amazing deals on fees. You should check it out.
